Joanna has worked in the conference industry since 1989. For six years she worked in venue sales at Chewton Place in Bristol followed by eight years as Conference Manager for Destination Bristol.

Finding no suitable software to manage the services of the conference desk at Destination Bristol, Joanna embarked on developing something to do the job.

In association with Velvet Software Limited Joanna developed the Chaser BUREAU enquiry handling system, now the UK industry standard, and then later developed the ConferenceBOOKINGS on-line accommodation system.

Since 2003 Joanna has worked as an independent consultant and trainer in the conference industry offering public group courses as well as training on site for venues and destinations.

Joanna’s long-standing association with Velvet Software continues as she provides user training for Velvet Software’s Chaser BUREAU and ConferenceBOOKINGS products. Click on the link for information on these and other Velvet Software products.
